Stormy night
As the clouds roll in, it’s time to pack it up for another night.
Summer Rain
A small amount of rain amounted from this threatening storm. Other than some very pretty clouds and the obligatory rainbow, our south western district somehow completely missed out on the drenching, sometimes deluging rains that the rest of the eastern seaboard seems to be complaining of. Water tank and water body levels dropping. Will probably need to buy water soon.
It must be Christmas
Only the 3rd of December and already have been to 2 Christmas functions. At least the manic nature of being a retail proprietor is no longer on my shoulders (Christmas planning in the industry starting around June/July!) Here’s some sunset pictures from the northern shore of the lake at the Friends of Mt Leura Chrissy event.
Moon & Jupiter
I’m finally using the Meade LS 8 with a bit of confidence and having a play with the camera t-adaptor. Yes, I was expecting home made pics to rival the Hubble, and no I didn’t achieve that (yet) but not a bad first effort before the clouds came rolling in.
